Being a business student in National University of Singapore, I am well versed in engaging people through the effective use of communication skills. My rich experiences in delivering well-paced and interactive presentations has also enabled me to teach every student in a fun and engaging manner. I am a very open and patient person so do not worry about making mistakes while talking to me in English. A greater emphasis on learning through conversations. Meanwhile, expanding a student's arsenal of sentence structures and vocabulary through in-depth analysis of well-written articles is a must. Overall, I do not have a preference to go for the grammar approach but rather gravitate towards offering a discussion-driven learning experience as it would allow the student to actively think and evaluate the ideas he or she is trying to bring up. Minimal amount of assignment would be given. Most of the work would be done in class and student should constantly revisit the work done. At the end of each lesson, every student has to write a reflection to sum up the key take-aways from each lesson. And don't worry, I would most certainly customise the teaching materials to cater to each student's interests and adjust the pace of teaching according to his or her standard.
