-My name is Nomfundo, I am from South Africa and I currently teach English online. -I enjoy travelling, learning about different cultures ad trying out new cuisine. I love engaging in conversations and laughing, yes! I do enjoy a good laugh there and than ( helps lighten the mood). -I genuinely love teaching English, it is a very fulfilling job, be it conversational or academic English. -My teaching experience includes: being a private tutor at the university of Mpumalanga teaching development studies as well as academic writing in English (2018). -Recently involves being a language consultant, teaching English online (2019). -My teaching style is a combination of many styles : * fun (including generic conversations and sharing a joke), (praising and encouraging the student). *direct ( telling students what to do and how to do it thus promoting learning through interaction). * delegating (make sure that every student participates equally and make sure that the lesson is not dominated by one/two student which promotes a healthy environment for learning). Why should you join me in class? -I value education and since you will be paying for it than it is important that after every lesson, you take away something new and have improved certain areas of your English learning. -I act as a facilitator who is there to guide and correct errors during the lesson but most importantly, I encourage students to formulate their own opinions and promote conversational method of answering questions rather than one word answers. -I customize content in the lesson to make sure that it relates to you as an individual student thus making it level appropriate and easy to understand. -I promote interaction between myself and the student and I always study the student's body language as an indication of whether they understand or not. -I monitor and evaluate each student and provide guidelines for improvement. -I go beyond the classroom and use resources like whatsapp and wechat to further assist you.
