Hi! My name is Shannae but you can call me Shan. I am from the Philippines. I enjoy writing and traveling. I have been to other countries, mostly in Asia. I love trying new things and meeting people because it excites me how different and yet the same people can be! I use English as my number one tool in traveling. I believe it can break barriers from one culture to the other. Well yes, I am a degree holder in Psychology and I am a Registered Psychometrician. I am also a Licensed Professional Teacher and practiced classroom teaching for 3 years. Oh, and I'm a TOEFL Certificate holder too! Seems too serious right? Not really! I make sure I enjoy with whoever i'm talking to :) How do I teach? I make sure that our lessons will be fun and interactive! I teach at my student's pace. I use different techniques that will be comfortable to my student and will make him/her learn at her own rate. I also try to balance it with what you want to achieve. We can have exercises, stories, reading, listening and simple conversations that can help you with your English. Why choose me? Well simply because teaching is my passion. Inside or outside the classroom, I love to teach. I like listening and having conversation with different individuals. I'd like to think that learning can be two-way, that means we learn from each other. So our lessons will mainly be about your English Competency but we will also use different means of learning that can make learning more realistic. Supplementary materials and resources will also be used for activities and home works so you can practice more. I use Audio/Video calls because in English, just like any other language, it becomes more effective if we put emotions into it and I want to see that!
